We thought ADSA members would be interested to know how Tim Pollard got on in the Regents Park 10k run last Sunday?

Last Sunday morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Trust, I took part and completed a 10k run through Regents Park. Most people would have done some sort of training, to condition their body for such an event. I am not most people. Yet in the warm temperatures, I crossed the finish line in a time of 1 hour 10 minutes and 47 seconds.

With the help of friends and family, I have raised £1050.00. My page is still open and any donation can make a huge difference. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tim-pollard2

The money can help those directly affected whether that be through an information leaflet or group meeting, to assistance with bills or other utilities. They have been fantastic with my girlfriend and I.

A massive thank you to those who have donated and helping such a cause’.
